Creating a new reality. While searching for fluffy powder in Siberia, a group of Austrian friends meet 40-year-old freeride pioneer Anton. The local talks about his first ski expeditions with friends in the mountains outside the dirty industrial town Nowokusnezk where they were born. Together with Anton, the Austrians set off for the nearby ski resort “Luzhba” and experience the best powder of their lives there.
This impressive ski film also underlines that regardless of the prevailing circumstances, you should always fight to live your desired reality. The snow footage was shot before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, though a later video phone call with Anton illustrates the dramatic impact this conflict has had on his personal life.
